Photobank KFP is an “open database“, this means it is continuously refilled by authors with new photographs. Currently there are over 20 000 (3/2018) nature photographs to see.
Published photographs are reflecting the personal orientation of single members of KFP, particularly in categories Mammals and Birds, Other animals (Insect and Arachnids, Amphibians, Fish, Reptiles), Plants and Fungi, as well as Landscapes, Composition and Form.
In the category Miscellaneous there are themes: Cynology,(Dog breeding) Falconry, Hunting (Game management)
Photobank is running simultaneously in two languages, Czech and English, it is also possible to use Latin names of species (Scientific names). For quick searching filters can be used, even multiple (by categories, by subcategories, by single species and also by single authors/photographers).
Authors and owners of all rights to published photographs are single members of the Photoclub KFP and the photobank is the property of the Photoclub, KFP, Prague, Czech Republic.
Goals of the KFP Photobank are followings:
- Arrangement of pictured species with the aid of auxiliary searching filters (by author, by category, by subcategory, by single species, by language)
- Presentation of own creation of photoclub members and for internal needs of the photoclub. In addition for the public and visitors to the website, both amateurs and professionals.
- Promotion of wildlife and nature conservancy
- Formation of a helpful natural science guide for visitors as an aid for one’s own observations.
- Portraying of species in their natural state and habitat.
- Offer of photographs for commercial or non-commercial use including the sale of licences for using the photographs for publication purposes.
Photographs can be bought for personal or public use. To obtain/buy photographs, contact the author of the published photograph directly via the contact e-mail address.
